As a performer, he's shared the stage with ensembles such as the Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera, the Pittsburgh Ballet, and the Blossom Festival Band.  For 8 years he was on the percussion faculty of Carnegie Mellon University, and as a businessperson, he held management positions at Volkwein’s Music going back to 1981, becoming the owner in 2017.

She’s a Russian-born jewelry designer, and co-founder and managing director of Flying Solo—a retail marketplace for independent luxury designers. Her own jewelry incorporates materials such as topaz, pearls and diamonds and fashions them into Art Deco and Elizabethan-inspired pieces.
